Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan)'s path

The deadliest Philippine typhoon on record, it killed at least 6,166 people in that country alone.

Haiyan is also the strongest storm recorded at landfall, and unofficially the strongest typhoon ever recorded in terms of wind speed.

Just to show you how much work needs to be done to help get the 14MILLION affected people back on their feet, here’s the update on rehabilitation and recovery efforts monitored by UN-OCHA
